Although remote working in Palma offers everything required to make it a desirable place to live, you may prefer a quieter location, perhaps a small and charming town by the sea.
As our island is surrounded by the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, you will find plenty of idyllic little coastal towns with ports from which to sail or practice water sports, and spectacular coastal areas, which are accessible only by sea.
Each area of the island has its own charms:
Sóller, with its French influence, comprises a village in the countryside, nestled among orange and lemon trees and surrounded by the majestic mountains, and a picturesque port of the same name. There is a real international community here. The construction of a tunnel through the mountains may have brought it even closer to Palma, but this hasn’t stopped it from retaining its unique character.
If we go north, we find Pollensa with its British community and places of incomparable natural beauty where sea and mountains meet. It truly is an exciting corner to discover.
Travel south west and we find Puerto de Andratx, an area popular amongst Germans, where a wide variety of restaurants and bars combine with the charm of the small fishing port, with spectacular mountains as the backdrop. By contrast, in the nearby town of Andratx, the atmosphere is much more Mallorcan but with an important cultural feel, where events of all kinds are hosted throughout the year.
On the east coast we find numerous picturesque locations, from where you can enjoy all the benefits of life under the sun, caressed by the gentle sea breeze. Towns that transmit a family atmosphere will make you feel integrated from day one.
Just tell us what attracts you and let us do the rest so that you can work amongst some of the best sea views.
